Spare the rod...

Earlier in the week I wrote about the push to 'listen' to children when deciding policy.

Yesterday, The Punch obligingly provided an article on the consequences of this, with a piece arguing that Australia should follow some 30 or so other countries in banning corporal punishment for children, because (get this) children don't like it!

The nanny state indeed....

Many children don't like eating vegetables either. Will soon be called abuse if parents force them to eat healthy meals?
