A traditional baptism and first communion

Congratulations to fellow bloggers Marty and Annelisa Carboy of Summorum Pontificum Wangaratta (to whom thanks for these lovely pictures) on the baptism of their third son, Dominic Joseph, who was baptised on 29 June in the Extraordinary Form by Fr. Terence Mary Naughtin OFM Conv.

Father Terence also celebrated a mass attended by over 80 people at Delany Chapel, the old Bridigine Convent chapel on the grounds of St. Patrick's, the main church in Wangaratta.

Two young people also made their first communion:

And a few pictures of the baptism itself:

Wonderful to see the return of tradition!

Lovely to see!

Fr Terence is a good priest.

My blog, sans photos alas, mentions just such a Baptism on Sunday just past here in Perth.
