Spread of the TLM in Australia since Summorum Pontificum

I've mentioned before that the TLM doesn't seem to be spreading as quickly as one might expect in Australia. New Zealand has expanded its provision of the Mass quite significantly over the last few months, and one gets the impression that the same thing is happening in the US.

But maybe some of the additional masses are only getting local publicity, and aren't being added to the wikki missa or other listings?? Here is the list of additions that I know about, I'd be grateful if anyone could tell me about any I'm missing:

South Australia:

additional (evening) mass at Payneham Rd, Adelaide

Victoria:

MENTONE: St Patrick's Mentone / East Parkdale (Bayside Deanery)9.15am on SaturdayPh: 03 9583 2103 Fax: 03 9584 7372 .diocesan

CRANBOURNE: St Agatha's7.00pm on Thursdays Phone: 5996 1985 Fax: 5996 1992.diocesan

BENDIGO NORTH Columba's Church. Lydiard Street.2.00pm EVERY Sunday.

ROCHESTER: St.Joseph's ChurchFriday,Saturday.10.30am.

New South Wales

Goulburn – 4th Sunday

And I still can't believe that Sydney doesn't have a daily TLM???

Perth

TLM community is rumoured to be getting its own Church, St Anne's.

Queensland

The latest edition of Fidelity Magazine indicates that plans for a TLM in Townsville are in preparation (but they need help with a few essentials like an altar missal, so if you can help, perhaps you could email fidelity at admin@j23.com.au).

In Perth, the TLM community currently has the use of a Chapel where about 3 (I think) Holy Masses are offered every Sunday. There are also weekday Masses.

I attend Holy Mass according to the 1962 Missal at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Palmyra at 12 noon on Sundays.

I think Kelmscott Parish also has a 4.00 pm Sunday Holy Mass according to the 1962 Missal.

Please refer to my blog for details of the impending move of the Perth TLM community to St Anne's, etc.

Basically, the church there must be renovated, and it will be at least a month if not more before we leave St John's Pro-Cathedral.

At the Pro., Fr Rowe has daily Mass, usually with an evening Mass on Fridays and feasts - times vary, see his monthly newsletter downloadable elsewhere - and Sunday Masses at 7.30am, 9.15 am (sung), and 11.15 am at the Pro.

In addition, the Sunday Mass at Kelmscott is at 2pm (NOT 4pm) each week.

Furthermore, Fr Rowe says Mass on Sundays at 6pm once a month or so down in Bunbury, at St Thomas' Church, Carey Park.

In other developments in Perth: I know of several priests who are learning to say the TLM, and Fr Shelton at St Joseph's, Bassendean, has been saying a weekday Latin Mass for the last few months, but I'm not sure of the details (it was on Monday evenings).

Thanks for these updates - excellent news on Sydney!

Joshua - can you give a date reference for your blog or a direct link to the relevant entries? - I looked through the last month but couldn't find the details on St Anne's.

Sorry, Terra.

Here are some relevant posts:

(There had been plans to move to St Bridget's instead, but these fell through.)

(Of course there is always controversy about moving into a church previously used by others.)
